KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT OHAFIA Ohafia is a clan made up of 26 Villages. It is also a local government area in Abia State, Nigeria. An Igbo  speaking region. The ancestral capital of Ohafia clan is Elu, a village in Ohafia. Although  Ohafia Local Government Area covers both  Abiriba and Nkporo clans, our focus is on Ohafia as a clan. The ancestors of Ohafia people were mighty warriors who fought and settled in different places before they arrived at the place known as Ohafia today. This aspect of the Ohafia people's history remains inherent to the people's sense of identity. In other words, the performance of "War Dance" (Iri Agha) clarifies the warrior tradition of the Ohafia people.  Ohafia War Dance is performed by a group of men who dance to display their muscles in winning  wars in the past. It is also a celebration and practice of beheading a fallen enemy. A human head was a proof of strength and courage in the ancient Ohafia. KALU Kalu, a household name in
